There is no downgrade available unless your system's manufacturer does it.You might be able to find a copy of Windows 7 or 8 somewhere, but the drivers for it to run probably don't exist if your manufacturer doesn't support it anyway. Is there something you could change about 10 to make it more to your liking? And lastly 'There is no downgrade available unless your system's manufacturer does it.' -Do you represent Microsoft in making this statement? You really come off as more of an old style sales person who is either not educated in this area or deliberately misleading people in order to build up Windows 10?
You'll find that many of the copies that are easy to get come with keys that are blocked from fraud, so you have to be very careful to find an actual retail copy.Drivers are hard. If a PC builder used a component from the last year, it may not work with Windows 7.No, no one here represents Microsoft, this is a peer forum. My opinions are my own of everything I say. If you want a technician (that will likely tell you to reboot, reinstall, or clear cookies) you can go to support.microsoft.com instead. If you know enough to get your own drivers, you probably know more than anyone that'd be here.
You seem informed enough that you can scavenge for your drivers and make it work. But yes, you do need to buy it yourself, to answer the root question. Be carefulwhere you buy it from. Hi Alan -In Windows 10 as with Windows 7, the enemy of performance is the crippling factory bloatware. I've made this a specialty for six years helping 1.8 million consumers do a perfectand most reported the results are what it should be like to purchase a new PC instead of the bloated mess they bought.I've said all that to urge you to try again with a since those of us - even the biggest supporters of Windows 7 (which I was @ 51,000 forums posts) - who've been using it with a clean install know it's a better OS that's faster and has better conveniences. So the choice is yours, a pathway to the best install whichever of the above links you choose. You can find WIn7 at Tiger Direct or NewEgg for around $89 Home or $119 Pro, or use the free license you have to reinstall Windows 10.You can also try to clean up the Factory Bloatware enough on your factory installed Windows 10 that it might become tolerable for you. Those optimizations are included inLet us know how it goes, and if we can help any further.
