Interesting end to the Ecruteak gym battle: every member on your team is fainted except for a sylveon, Morty is on his spiritomb. The sylveon knows tackle, metronome, charm and Skull bash. The spiritomb does little damage to you because of charm, but you can no longer switch out. The spiritomb eventually is only capable of struggle, and you are out of metronomes. I beat a gym leader in the most situational way possible, because i eventually used up all pp on sylveon's moves and struggled twice. Victory through purely unexpected means.

AnonymousI tested this game with my full roster of Fire Red cheats. I cheat tested this game because it has a simular problem as stock emerald. Please keep in mind, I only did that cheat test run half way through Johto, soley to see what cheats would cause side affects in this particular game.I would shy away from the following:wild encouter modifier codes, slot 1 party modifier codes, item modifier codes related to your bag, warp codes, and national dex cheat for sure. These were ones that were fine most times, but also resulted badly other times:slot 1 store modifier cheats & pc modifier cheatsThe side affect I ran into involving cheats above rulted in bad eggs in pc, my team turning into bad eggs, items slowly dissapearing out of my bag, one even resulted me in having a glithed game.Walking through walls seems to be fine, as long as you're mindful when & where you use it. Everything for a dollar seemed to be fine also. I also used Master code along with 4.1 DMA disable worked fine and using them in conjunction with my box 1 slot 1 mew inject in johto to get rid of bad egg work fine too.I would take additional care when using cheats outside of Johto/Kanto.

This game has very complicated map linking involved which may also be a contributing factor.Of course, I'm not telling you how to play your game. You're free to play your game how ever you like. I'm just posting my findings so people can keep this in mind. I hope this helps. AnonymousI would also like to add, as a word of advice in ROMs. Before inputting or enabling certain cheats (especially crazy one's like catch the trainer's poke, etc.):1) Make a hard save in the in the closest town's store or pokecenter (.except. Ecruteak City, due to save bug).2) Create a zipped backup copy of that save file (usually.sav).3) Store that save zip in a different file folder.in my case, i have to create and store save zips often and for multiple games, so i gave them their own folder and even rename the zip's names itself.

The Reason For This:- If you input that cheat afterwards. Then something bad or unintended happens, even multiple saves later. You can simply delete that cheat from roster, stop game without saving, delete current save file, and replace it with your back up save that wasn't touched by that cheat. It's like getting a second chance when you do that.Like I said, I do this all the time when playing ROMs. Not only during testing (both with and without cheats), but also during my casual game runs, and during my occasional blatant cheat runs as well. Anonymousyeah it was weird with some of them. Very few were the case of not working properly, most functioned exactly as supposed to (i was using gameshark v3 ones).

Most weren't 100% for a side affect either. If i was to guess a percentage for the majority (at least in my case while testing), they ranged anything from 45-70%, depending what it was. Most i didn't see any side affect from it until a bit later in my run.yeah i hear ya, rare candy and master ball are ones i go for when i'm in a jam.

Those were fine most the time (through store and pc cheat). But max item in bag for them did wierd things in other areas in my bag later on in the run almost half the time. And suspicious if one test from it was the cause of a pc bad egg as well.:STake Care! Hello small issue here. I m in 8th gym. I just can pass through the last boulder bridge to Clair.Done reloading from last saveChecked YouTube guides but the all just have skip that part.

Or fast forward it Its not helping me in a nutshell.Tried wall hack but it seems the game just reload when I try to move or it freezes up.I m just trying to get in shortest time.I have reached 8th gym in 6hrs. I felt really annoyed when this bug happened. Can some one gimme a piece of mind.i would really appreciate that and I want to play this to end. No idea why but this crashes every time you push the Start button. Maybe its just my emulator but nearly every other rom you shared on here work just fine with no hiccups. Anyway you can let the creator and their team know?Im using the Gameboid app, the version I have is one of the very first GBA android apps, the original was taken off the market years ago, now there is a different one that came out last year.

My emulator doesn't matter, I've tried it on MyBoy and 2 other android emulators, but it still crashes when using the Start button, I even reassigned the button to another key and it still crashes.
